Of this song, of course I love the percussions, as every Son Lux's song. Same for the vocals. But that strings melody, that appears just three times in the entire song and than explodes differently at the end. It's like a sonic representation of a mythological creature that appears just in rare moments. The absence of this melody during the rest of the song makes you dream of it, makes you wish for it. Like, "Where are you beautiful sound, where did you go?" and then it suddenly arrives in a moment where you don't expect it and you remain shocked by its beauty and how it touched you.

Congratulations guys... The level of complexity and powerfulness of this album takes me back to some of the finest and deepest conceptual albums from the prog rock era. Shame the general conception of what enjoying music is has changed as it has since then, aswell as its virtue of emotional powerfulness and reinvention. Once you realize taht everyone dies and everything decays you can't just live because you know that all your friends,parents,pets will die and all the items you hold dear will turn into dust and time just passes on...we can't escape the cycle and time just marches on and crushes our dreams and memorys and destroys our lives...

just saw them perform at the lincoln center in nyc, such a strong powerful performance. they sound exactly the same live. i was so disappointed last year when they were on tour and i missed them so i was so happy they decided to do another this year that i was able to make. they’ve been my favorite band for the past couple years and have helped me through so much and i still can’t believe i saw them.
